Soap Making Advanced

Introduction:



Students will learn about the different colourants and fragrance/essential oils that can be used safely in soap and how to add these to another soap safely. They will also learn about the different additives suitable for soap making and how to soothe different skin conditions. More discussion on Soapcalc. You must have completed the beginner’s level here at Atwea. The advanced session of soap making will be customised, please contact the tutor.

Prerequisites: Participants MUST have successfully completed our Soap Making Beginners Class at ºÚÁÏÃÅ´óʼÇ.

Fees

Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

Parking fees may apply at some venues.

Enrolment

To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.


Confirmation

Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.


Bring with you

  • An empty 1 litre cardboard milk carton or pringles container
  • Towel & tea towel
  • Apron
  • Ensure you bring goggles from beginners


Safety

  • Please bring your goggles and mask you purchased in the beginners class
  • Long sleeves must be worn and long pants, legs must be covered.
  • Students must wear correct footwear, otherwise they will be refused entry to the class. No open toe shoes or open court or dress shoes, no thongs or sandals, Leather lace up shoes or boots
